 
On behalf of the sisters of the Raleigh-Durham City Council, welcome to this beautiful city, noted as one of the best places to live in America.
Most of us in Beta Sigma Phi have been members of our organization for many years. We came to Beta Sigma because we wanted to meet women in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We needed a place where we could be safe and content to be ourselves but yet gave us an opportunity to grow and become better than we were.
As a member of Beta Sigma Phi, that "better" can be whatever we chose it to be. We practice service, learning, and friendship every time we meet. It is in fact our Motto.
In the Raleigh-Durham area there are 14 different chapters. All of these chapters are made up of women of different age groups, interests, and talents. We encourage you to visit these chapters to see if Beta Sigma Phi is a good fit for you.
